Strong ServiceNow experience is a MUST
Location: Issaquah (Seattle), WA (Relocation assistance available for eligible new hires located over 50 miles from the Hub location of hire and they move to within 50 miles of the hub location)
Schedule - Hybrid - 25% on site, so typically 1 day per week. May require more onsite time until settled in.

Compensation – Target skill is Level 3 and starting salary anticipated to between $150-170K
Level 3: $145,000 - $180,000 Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible

The IT Management Platform Principal Solution Architect - ServiceNow is a key member responsible for the architecture, design, development, configuration, implementation, and testing of CLEINT’s ServiceNow platform. This role will engage in projects, working with other platform support engineers, architects, software developers, and subject matter experts in the creation of architecture, process, and governance documentation for the platform. The IT Management Platform Architect is accountable for providing technical leadership within the team, including the design and implementation of a formal development, documentation, and code review processes. This role is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and availability of the ServiceNow platform. The IT Management Platform Architect will: provide analysis of problems while working toward solutions to technical issues; deploy new releases and/or enhancements; maintain and support the platform’s operational functions; and provide system architecture diagrams and documentation. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the vision and future roadmap of the ServiceNow platform. The Architect must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities. Mentoring, coaching and training of team resources is also a responsibility of this role.

ROLE
- Develops solutions to IT business problems that impact the IT Management platform and collaborates with Enterprise Architecture to ensure solution alignment with strategic discretion.
- Provides technical oversight of IT Management platform (currently ServiceNow); including scripting, configuration, integrations, and administration.
- Collaborates with cross-functional systems on product roadmap and architectural diagrams.
- Defines the technical standards and guidelines of the broader delivery and operations teams.
- Determines scope, estimates work effort and determines duration of development activities.
- Designs solutions to meet business requirements.
- Analyzes and translates business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve complex business objectives.
- Drives solid instance health by reviewing and guiding the remediation of configurations that do not align to ServiceNow best practices.
- Specifies, Designs, and maintains API and data integration solutions between ServiceNow and partner systems.
- Performs ServiceNow Discovery configuration, customization, implementation, and mid-server architecture.
- Co-teams with the Technical Architect to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements.
- Engages with customer enterprise architects to position ServiceNow as the digital transformation platform integrated with the core systems.
- Participates in the global planning and support of CLIENT’s ServiceNow implementations.
- Monitors health and usage of the IT Management platform.
- Designs, deploys, and participates in Global Governance processes such as design and code reviews.
- Responds to Service Requests and provides incident resolution.
- Designs and implements technical documentation processes for the team and provides internal training to team members. Establishes and manages technical governance processes.
- Generates reports and KPI analysis as needed.
- Understands CLIENT's ITSM, ITBM, ITOM and GRC processes, and works closely with the process team.
- Understands and adheres to CLIENT’s Mission Statement and Code of Ethics.
- 5+ years large program experience leading architecture and design.
- Enterprise Architect role and relevant experience.
- Enterprise Architect certification (Togaf, IT4IT, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience implementing ITSM and ITOM processes and solutions.
- Experienced in CMDB implementations.
- 3+ years’ experience with web technologies including API’s / CSS / XML / HTML / Web Services.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript design and development. Experience with Angular or similar Javascript frameworks.
- 3+ year experience in Rest Web Services development and integration.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum and SDLC including Requirements Analysis, Design, Installation, Development, Testing (application code and user acceptance), and Deployment.
- Knowledgeable on ServiceNow Security Best Practices and Procedures.
- Ability to communicate technical information in business terms.
- Demonstrated ability to own and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Strong project management skills; experience utilizing project management tools and formal methodology.
- Ability to independently plan deliverables and coordinate with team-members.
- Ability to work closely with other departments on projects and problem resolution, actively and effectively participate in technical discussions.
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills and the ability to logically think through problem situations.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to create and present documentation or proposals for projects/tasks.
- Prior experience mentoring and providing technical leadership.
- 5+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow Architect, Administrator, Developer, or Implementation Specialist.
- ITIL certification.
- Certified ServiceNow Admin (Advanced).
- Experience developing JavaScript applications using Angular.
- Understanding of LDAP and/or Active Directory Environment.
- Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows server administration and virtualization (VMWare).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or Related Field or equivalent work experience.
